母から受け継いだ、布を縫うという手仕事。

その記憶を受け継ぎながら、今の自分が感じる色、形、余白を重ねていく。　

誰かに合わせるためではなく、

自分の感覚に還るために。　

時代や世代を越えて受け継がれてきた手仕事を、

今を生きる自分の表現へ。

そしてまた、次の誰かへ。　

　　

色やステッチを重ねるのではなく、

あえて抑え、選び取ることで生まれる静かな美しさ。　

黒や濃紺を軸に、ときに別の色を差し込みながら、

幾何学の構成を静かに組み立てています。　

針目を丁寧に重ねることで陰影が生まれ、

角度や距離によって表情も変わります。

強い色や光で際立たせるのではなく、

影が生む余白を大切にしながら、

暮らしの中で静かに佇むキルトを目指しています。　
　
　

eraQuilt　　

I inherited the craft of quilting from my mother.
Carrying that memory with me, I layer the colors, forms, and spaces that speak to who I am now.　

Not to conform to someone else,
but to return to my own sensibility.　
　

A craft passed down through generations and across time,
reimagined as an expression of who I am today.
And from here, passed on to someone new.　

Rather than adding more color or stitching,
I find a quiet beauty in restraint and careful selection.　
　

Working mainly with black and deep navy, with occasional touches of other colors,
I quietly build compositions through geometric forms.　

Carefully layered stitches create depth and shadow,
allowing each piece to reveal a different expression depending on the angle and distance.　

Rather than relying on bold color or light to stand out,
I value the space created by shadow,
creating quilts that rest quietly within everyday life.
